Perspective Group and Photography Gallery
Exhibiting Membership Application Requirements
Full exhibiting members of Perspective Gallery enjoy inclusion in a select community of photographers. Members have the opportunity to exhibit their work at Perspective Gallery as a featured or solo exhibition once every 12-15 months, as well as in "mini shows" once or twice a year. Members take part in monthly critiques, quarterly outings (museums, galleries), and receive an 85% commission on all works sold at the gallery. Members are required to staff the gallery once every 3-5 weeks, and participate on a committee. Membership monthly dues are $75. Gallery membership is currently limited to 20 photographers.
To be considered for membership, the following information is requested for review by our Membership Committee and Board of Directors.
• A Portfolio of 15-20 images submitted via CD, flash drive, or Dropbox link in PDF or JPG Format. (If you are using JPG, please use a resolution of no less than 72 PPI with the longest dimension being approximately 1500 pixels) Part of the contents of the portfolio should consist of images that represent a cohesive body of work developed within the last 5 years.
• A Bio/Resume that includes educational and professional
involvement, exhibitions, awards and peer recognition.
• A Letter stating why you would like to join the Perspective Group
